Important:  please note that the Tuesday and Thursday night class are on the SCHOOL SITE. The same content is covered both online, on a digital platform with your Tutor, as it covered in a physical classroom, however you have the option here of choosing the learning environment that suits you.

Te Reo Maaori Me Aaena Tikanga - This course introduces the structure of Maaori language, society, customs, literature and songs. At the end of the course students will have a good understanding of Maaori phrases, marae protocol and some tribal lore. You will be able to have a conversation and count in Maaori. You will also know something of Maaori society. 

Suitable for absolute and near beginners. 

If you enrol in this class please commit to attending all sessions as continuous sequential learning is essential. If you are going to be absent please contact the office 09 636 9060 or email comed@ohs.school.nz to let us know.
