This beginner-friendly candle-making course is fun, interactive, and a great way to meet new people while learning the art and science of candle creation. All equipment, gloves, and instructions are provided, and you may wish to bring an apron or art smock to protect your clothing.

You’ll explore different types of wax, the history and science of candle making, and the benefits of soy versus paraffin wax. Learn about fragrance loads, candle safety tips, and where to source quality candle and packaging supplies.

By the end of the course, you will:

• Understand the basics of making soy candles

• Create your own scented candles using proper equipment

• Learn how to care for and safely burn your candles

All materials are included in your course fee, and you’ll go home with the confidence to continue creating candles on your own.
