UPHOLSTERY BEGINNERS SATURDAY

Want to repair and refresh small furniture pieces like chairs or footstools? This beginner-friendly upholstery workshop will give you the hands-on skills to bring new life to your favourite items. Led by an upholstery expert with over 35 years of international experience, you’ll gain confidence as you work on your own project.

You’ll learn:

  • Webbing and foam preparation

  • Measuring, cutting, and pattern making for fabric

  • Material fixing and basic sewing techniques

  • Fundamental upholstery methods to transform your furniture

Please bring a small, portable furniture item to each class, such as a dining chair or small stool, that you can carry yourself. By the end of the course, you’ll have practical skills to continue restoring and creating at home.
